This is a quick walk thru on the differences between Gizmo Guy Gadget 3rd Generation vs 4th Generation iPhone FM Transmitter.
The 3rd Generation iPhone FM Transmitter features a toggle switch which allow you to physically set the channel you want to use. The choices are 87.9 FM, 94.9 FM and 102.7 FM.
The 87.9 Will work for 95% of people, however, if any of the 3 happened to be a local station, you can choose another for quick setup on the preset of your car factory radio.
The 4th Generation iPhone FM Transmitter looks exactly the same as the 3rd Generation except for the toggle switch has now becomes a press button. You press the button for 3 to 5 second to switch it ON / OFF.
You also hold the button to select your channel setting. Simply hold the button for a few second, the transmitter will cycle thru those three preset setting to syn and match your car radio automatically.
