How to Add Subtitles in Final Cut Pro In this video we'll take a look at how to add always on captions, or subtitles to your project in Final Cut Pro. The problem with closed captions in your video is that the viewer has to turn them on. Adding open captions, will permanently display your captions in your video. The ability to add open captions is perfect if you caption your video in a second language, or just want the captions to be displayed all the time. In the second part of this video, we'll take a look at SRT captions. Captions in the SRT format work perfect if you share your video online, to sites like YouTube, FaceBook and many others. With SRT captions in your project, when you share your video directly to YouTube or FaceBook, the closed captions are automatically uploaded along with your video.
