This video takes a look at the workflow of color correction. Many editors, myself included follow these three basic steps when color correction. First step is adjusting exposure or contrast of your image for a nice dynamic range. Step two is balancing color, to make sure all neutral colors don't have any color cast. And step three is adjusting color saturation. Different video scopes are used for each step. Step one uses the luma waveform, or RGB Parade waveform, step two uses RGB Parade, and step three uses vectorscope to assist with color correction.
